This Heaven on Earth cake is a simple, no-bake dessert with layers of crushed pineapple, cream cheese, and whipped topping. It offers a sweet and creamy taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pineapple with its juice and the instant pudding mix. Stir until well blended. Set aside.
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Gently fold the pineapple pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Place half of the angel food cake cubes in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  6. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake cubes.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining cake cubes and cream cheese mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, let the cake chill overnight.
  • You can use a sugar-free pudding mix and sugar substitute to reduce sugar.
