- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (use tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
- Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- If you want a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch slurry. Stir until sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for more flavor.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to your taste.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
