1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup water
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For streusel: 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth. Mix in pumpkin puree and water.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
In a small bowl, combine streusel ingredients: flour, brown sugar, and cold butter. Use a fork or your fingers to mix until crumbly.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle streusel evenly over the top.
Bake for 55-65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
