  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add broccoli, onion, garlic, and broth to your slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 4 hours or until broccoli is tender.
  3. In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly whisk in heavy cream and cook until thickened.
