- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- For the glaze: 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add to butter mixture. Stir until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.

- For the glaze: whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
